If you’re looking to change flooring in your home, you may need to put some thought into the state of the floor under the covering you want to use. You can’t always simply remove your existing floor covering and just whack down a new carpet, wooden floor or piece of tiling. Sometimes, you need to do some preparation work on the floor, especially if you want to use a different type of flooring material than you’ve had down in the past. My name is Dave, and I like to spend my spare time working on projects around the house. I've learned a lot over the years about laying new flooring and, in my experience, preparation is key to getting a good looking floor.
